Yeah your right the amendment passed. Now I guessed we'll just have to get table games and watch the Racinos cry around as usual. We're always ahead of you guys no matter all your name calling and racial slurs. Take care and good luck catching up.

The Miccosukee Tribe has had the monopoly on gambling in Miami-Dade for a while and now is time for them to share the wealth. I can assure you that the only reason why the Seminoles have the edge on other gambling ventures in Broward is because of the Hard Rock Hotel and now class 3 machines. The courts will decide whether or not those machines are legal in Florida.

Miccosukee doesn’t have a name brand hotel nor Vegas style casino machines. In addition, renovations in your hotel are long overdue. There is absolutely no comparison in quality from the Hard Rock to Miccosukee Tribe Hotel. Adding table games is doubtful, as the Miccosukee Tribe is double cheap and they would have done it already if they felt the revenue was there. It is inevitable that perhaps the monopoly of gambling is coming to an end for the tribe. I can assure you that the private sector has no problem rocking somebody else’s boat. Hard times are coming boys and girls, rest assured on that.

HOW CAN A NEARLY CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION HAVE A POLICE DEPT ?

WE FOLLOW SOME USA LAWS WHEN WE FEEL LIKE IT, DEPENDING WHO IT INVOLVES, OR HOW WE FEEL THAT DAY?

    Here is some background -

Back when the Resort was nothing but a big old warehouse type building, Mr. Cypress and the BC joined forces with a company called TAMIAMI PARTNERS. The principals of this company where known to be organized crime elements as identified in the Philadelphia organized crime commission report. However the Tribe decided to overlook this data and proceeded to allow Tamiami partners to build out and equip the Bingo hall as it was known back then and soon enough it started operating.

Soon after profits started rolling in, the tribe instituted legistation that required all operators, partners and employees to acquire a gaming license, needless to say the boys from Tamiami partners did not qualify due to their mob affiliations from up north.

This idea of gaming licenses was the brainwork of then Assistant US Attorney Dexter Leihtenen whom contracted his work to the tribe as a lawyer and consultant.

It was a simple and yet effective to steal from the mob, get the business rolling and making $.

Tamiami Partners sued and the matter even passed through the tribal court if you can believe that!

Anyway the tribe's right to regulate has always prevailed and the mobster from philly where SOL.

Nevertheless, have you ever wondered why Billy Cypress is so paranoid about security and drinks like a fish ? Well it's because he stiffed the mob and now he lives like a scared animal.

So Nearly criminal organization yes, nearly but not entirely.

The fact of the matter is that this and other tribes exist on the handouts of our government's grants and subsidies and only recentlly have they discovered how to make a living with gaming and only gaming.
