IMO the tax amendment will pass, but it will also devestate the State of Florida. Some municipalities will fold, to include their police departments. The way that it's written, everybody will vote for it. For example, who doesn't want to "double" their homestead exemption??? But what they don't tell you is that if you vote to double your homestead exemption, then you also get rid of the annual 3% tax cap!!! It's all a scam to get MORE money in the end!!! Will it pass? Yes!!! Will it save taxpayer money in the long run? No!!! :twisted:
