    Bullet proof vest

    Can anyone recommend the lightest and thinnest vest on the market today? A level 2 or higher? I'm looking for a new one and I am having trouble finding web sites that critique the latest vests without them being one of the manufactures sites.

    After years of wearing heavy, uncomfortable vests I ended up not wearing one. It's getting too crazy down here in S. FL and my family has really been getting on my case lately. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.

    Mine is made by gatorhawk. I have a higher end vest @ $1,100.00 but the level III will run you about 750.00 I guess. Point Blank and Amkerican Body Armour also make level III vest. My suggestion is try all of them out and see what feels better.
