Do you hire for specific areas or just for genral assignments? What is the likely hood of take home cars for you guys? I worked with alot of your officers on the alley and there were alot of good guys there. To bad for the high turnover....

Is the alley a hard position to get? If not where do the senior guys like working?

Easy to blame the cop for almost causing several accidents... Well if you can do a better job than put on a gun and badge and patrol the Alley. Then maybe you will realize how many idiots drive up there and would hit you, because they are busy talking on a phone and doing 100mph!! My point is it was probably you idiot drivers that almost caused the accidents. I know I worked was up there and know how dangerous it is to do traffic on that road.

As for the poster who responded to this person's post good job. We all need to look after each. Well stay safe out there.

    MOTO ESCORT

LET ME CLEAR THIS UP. THE MOTOR CYCLE ESCORT WAS FOR, TOYS FOR KIDS RIDE, COMPRISE OF FEDS, DEA, FBI, FD, PD, HLS, CSO THAT WERE HEADING TO FT. MYERS. THERE WERE NO LEAD PATROL CAR, ONLY A REAR CAR TO KEEP THE TRAFFIC BACK. THE PRIVATE VEHICLES WITH THEIR FLASHERS ON WERE WITH THE MOTOR CYCLES AS TRAFFIC BLOCKERS, SO NO SON OF A ***** WILL COME UP FROM BEHIND THE BIKES AND RUN THEM OVER. AS FOR YOU AS A TAMPA COP, YOU SEEM NOT TO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT TRAFFIC, SO YOU RUN YOUR MOUTH LIKE A SEWER. I GUESS THAT'S THE WAY YOU DO IT IN TAMPA, YOU SEEM TO BE A BACK STABBER/SNITCH. IT IS OFFICERS LIKE YOU THAT TARNISH THE SHEILD, ALWAYS SEEING WHO DID SOMETHING WRONG. STAY IN TAMPA WHERE THE CRIME RATE IS SO HIGH, AND ALL THE DRUGS ARE COMING FROM. CLEAN THAT UP FIRST BEFORE YOU TALK ABOUT ANOTHER OFFICER FROM ANOTHER DEPARTMENT. NOPD HOW IS GA.

Ok first off to eastcoast50 most of the senior officers bid for the alley district if you are a rookie here it will take you at least 1 yr on the road before you'd get close to working there. 2nd finally someone with some sense out there (G HUH) you're included you got sense too I know who was working but if any of you think I am gonna throw one of my brothers under the bus....you thought wrong! I have had many family friends that were cops long before me and they used to tell me how everyone looked out for one another, I looked forward to becoming a cop and being part of the brotherhood but damn seems like alot of guys just want to hang others out to dry. I must be lucky cuz it seems most of my brothers and sister here are not like that we still believe in the old school way one for all and all for one!
