Did Florida budget affect hiring for FDLE?

Did the Florida legislature's cutting of the budget affect hiring at FDLE?

I heard they cut the 50 vacant positions for FHP.

Yes FDLE will be impacted. I have advance word. Here is the bad news. I would ask that the new agents not be discouraged by the following:

All Dodge Chargers will come with a V6 instead of the Hemi.
Some of the blue lights will have to be recycled into your new car.
No new sniper rifles this year.
No parade uniforms (Class A.)
The list goes on and on, but I think you get the idea. It will be a tough year.
