12 HR. SHIFTS

I really have no idea guys keep leaving and people are not applying so who knows.

The 12 hour shift is not healthy. Your health is more important than getting off extra weekends. You may not think that way now, but later it will catch up. Not worth it. Some dept's have been sued because officers work 12 to 18 hrs. and don't sleep. Doctors have proven driving without sleep is just as bad as DUI. 12 hour shifts are a big liability to the officer and the dept. What we like is sometimes not good for us.

Wake up, prety much every law enforcement agency in the US is on 12's. You need to get out of the woods more often.
