We Need a New Sheriff Because of the High Crime Rate!!

The Homicides are out of control, the robberies arte out of control, burglaries are out of control. You can blame all of this on the State Attorney's Office. Law Enforcement continues to put these people in jail but the SAO turns right around spending more time looking for ways to either drop the case or plea it down.
Example: two robbery suspects receive 364 days in jail for a crime that requires a 5 year sentence
Burglary suspect who confessed to 10 burglaries gets less than a year in jail
A subject is found guilty of Trafficking in marijuana receives probation.

This is just a very small example of why the crime is out of control. Instead of looking for a new Sheriff we should vbe looking for a new State Attorney.

Yes, and we all know having an education directly relates to a persons ability to do a job. :roll: That piece of paper has no direct correlation to a persons ability to perform a job correctly. Just look at the other guy everybody loves to flame on here, Dr. S. :shock: I agree that being educated could help round out job skills, but you would be making a error in judgement to think that he is stupid. Steube inherited a hornets nest that was 15+ years in the making. I don't envy his position.

Steube was part of the making of the hornet's nest. Get a new start, someone with a good foundation in LE and an education. Being physically fit is important, having intellectual fitness is critical. Steube lacks this credential and does not even surround himself with people who have the two areas of expertise.

If you will spend a few minutes on the County Supervisor of Elections' website, you'll be able to see who has contributed to the Steube machine. Kinda sorta looks just like Charlie's contributor lists. Also seeing the usual contribution stacking....person, business, granny, funny uncle who lives in anchorage kicking in. Lots of potential for ethics/campaign law complaints. And there will be some. It will be interesting. Just saying..
