In Florida, with a very liberal open records law, the retired status should be availble via the Florida Retirement System data base.

YEP
I post on a slew of BB’s, both registered and unregistered, and I’ve found that the registered ones are far more productive. You’ll still have guys registering gimmick accounts and those screaming that the administration will be able to find out who they are but it raises the quality of the posts tenfold. I vote an emphatic “Yes”

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a
courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt
Not Commit Adultery," and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of
lawyers, judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

Retired Officer Board
As many of the questions are coming from retired brothers. mabe theres a need for "Retired Law Enforcement" board. They could exchange old war stories that dont impress this new so called X genaration, exchange vacation hints, swap vacation homes, call for legislation to benift the retired- such as raising the insurane supplement, planning annual get to geathers, etc.--- the possibilities are endless.
