You should meet with all the defense attorneys who represent all those junkies and crack heads and pushers who have been arrested at Club Space and tell them how those poor suckers were framed by the mean Miami Police. Yup, to us who are posting here, encouriging you it's like watching those poor jumpers in the high rise and the crowd yelling Jump. Trust me we are not going to rally on your behalf when IA takes you in and has you explain (POst Garrity of course) how was it that you met with the SAO and the defense attorney as a defense witness (Read DO's on tesitifying as a defense witness). If you Pick fight a battle with the department, don't pick a fight were you are defending persons who are directly or indirectly responsible for distributing dope. Anyone who ahs worked CLub Space and many of us have, knows what's going inthere and we have chosen to turn a blind eye, but we are still cops and when it's said and done, you don't side with a criminal against your fellow officers. If you had an issue with the arrest, then you should have gone to IA with it. Even the Mobsters have a code of honer to never take sides aginst their organization. A few persons will come on here and vent by telling you to jump of the building but remember my friend, they will not feel the pain of hitting the pavment when you jump, only you will. Take thius advice, don't sit on the ledge and don't jump. You are not a bad kid and you have endured a lot becasue of officers picking on you, calling you the 315 kid and becasue of you stature. But if you want to be respected in this department, be your own man and make your decissions based on good old fashioned common sense.
Whoever you are yup, F--k Off. Geo is 1000 times the man you will never be. His balls should be an alter. Bottom line he has principles to know something was handled inapropriately. Also, don't make allegations about criminals, you might be getting sued for slander. If you can't support it factually, then f--k off. You are a jerk. Geo didn't turn against a fellow cop. He turned against an incompetent administration.

Funny how most of you don't get it. After all the cops the feds have recently sent to prison ( not the river cops), some of you fail to realize that if you break the law, to enforce the law, your a criminal. Just because a supervisor tells you to arrest someone, and by law, they can't do that, you fall into the trap of following orders and then you get jammed up in court. Supervisors have arrest powers. If these places are so criminal in nature, put them out of business. How? enforce the state liquor laws for one. Another find out the city ordnace for maximum occupancy, have the city fire marshalls make the establishment POST the occupancy, and enforce the ordnance. HOW, just count the people. You can enforce ANY part of the city's ordanances. So you don't make the arrest for drugs, but if the place is out of business, they aren't selling drugs are they. Does it work? Ask the owners of El Liceo club and My other place club's owners. Oh, we closed them down in the mid 70's in the south end. And some of you remember the pimp, hooker and drug dealer hang out known as Vick's in downtown Miami? It lost it's license this way also. But Making the case anyway you can, can make you a felon. And it doing so, you endanger other cops who would have to cover your BS.

Hey dumba$$, the owner trys to work with the city as much as possible. He even hired a Fire Marshal to count patrons. He went out of his way to accomodate. Bottom line in the end you will see the truth exposed. Miami get ready to pay up.

Do you even know how to file a grivance, what the procedures are, Javi why don't explain it here. Explain what it entails to file a grivance, what steps you must take before you can file one. How you are not automaticaly entitled to file a grivance because you may be unhappy about an issue.

Hey, it was a legitimate question. Explain what it is and how to file one. Don't be thin skin, the answer will benefit all.
