Police Disabilty Retiree

I'm medically retired from a non-Florida police department and I'm interested in the Sheriff's Office. Any assistance would be appreciated.

What assistance?

1. is possible to be appointed by Florida law?
2. do you have anyone else working there whom retired on a medical out of state?

I don't work in Volusia, guest, but I can tell you that I'm sure that the moron who responded with obscenities can't be representative of the department.
