$3000.00 raise

did anyone hear about the $3000.00 across the board raise we suppose to be gettin later this year :shock:

Did anyone hear that Michael Jackson is on crack. This city doesn't give to sh!ts about the police. He!! even a council person publically said she wanted to fire everyone of us. We'll be lucky if the city gives us gas for our cruisers so we can respond to calls.

$3000 raise. That's probably what they're telling the new recruits to keep them at the dept, just like the 60-mile radius for the take-home car. Ooops, I just farted a huge smoke cloud.

Any time you hear a dollar amount, rather than a % or the words "across the board," you can be assured that it's either as stated in a previous post (bullshizz) or it's a no-rollup bonus. Your pay doesn't advance and the bonus doesn't count towards your pension.

It's all okay, though, because it's another great day in St. Petersburg!
