How about that contract

Well, it appears that the contract is a go. It seems to be a good deal for all. The newer employees will be receiving decent raises and top out quicker ( although the top out pay will remain the lowest in Broward County) and the city will purchase time in the FRS Retirement for them.

The more experienced employees with 15 plus years in will be able to freeze their pension and collect on what would have been their normal 20th year anniversary with no penalties. I wonder how many employees who fit in this category are looking around???????? Time will tell.

I can think of at least a half dozen.
