    Tax Cut

If the City is so worried about the pending budget problems from tax relief, maybe they should think about where they could save money. Any ideas?

Oh....How about trying to close the revolving door at the PD. Stop training applicants for every other PD in the state. The PBA and FOP should figure out exactly how much money they have wasted by not being able to keep employees.

I’m sure they already thought about this one….when they lowered property taxes last year, they increased utility bills to make up the difference.

Sell Weed Waivers to Souf Siders. They can pay a fee to smoke weed in the open. The PD would more than cover its budget on that. They luvs they weed.

Make it one of those cities where weed, bath salts, menthols and mawt likra can only be purchased from a city owned store. Open early at 2PM and close at midnight or 1.

Angry Not a tax problem; it's a SPENDING problem.

The city has no tax declination problem, it does have a spending priorities problem.
Too many highly paid administrative positions and employees, too few worker bees.
Time to stop expanding socialist agendas with city funds, and start keeping working people living here.

No such things will happen until we get rid of the socialist mayor. However as far as voters are concerned, we may have already reached the tipping point of no return. St. Petersburg will remain a liberal run city.
