What's it like??

I'm currently an Officer at St. Pete Police Dept and like everyone else at the dept looking for a new place to work. Wanted to get some first hand info on CCPD. I think transfering from a bigger PD, with lots of violence crime is going to be a big change.

Im used to coping at least ten to twelve calls a shift, and wanted to see if CCPD is as busy. Also, I wanted to get info about the CCPD pension plan, mostly if it's state pension plan. Also, equipment and advancements with in the dept. is important to be. Just tring to get a a little insight, if anyone can help??

10-12 calls a shift, damn, in my dept each unit averages 10 calls in 3 hours

I am looking for an officer maybe Sergeant by now Mesa with Cape Coral. This is an Army buddy o f his. If he still works there can someone let me know. Thanks.
