    Jumping Ship

It looks like a few more are thinking of jumping ship soon. Maybe this isn't the kind of place where you can come in and do your job without any hassles unless you're in the circle after all. I think we're about to loose some really good officers to other agencies that want dedicated officers that arent' afraid to work, and aren't in this career for their own reward.

Being in the "inner circle" has no bearing on this issue.

Everyone expects to be treated fairly and the rules need to apply in the same manner to each employee. Most who leave are just tired of playing the game and they would like a fresh start with another agency which offers more of a challenge and an opportunity within their departments.

So very true, but you have to admit that some officers are treated more fairly than others.

    Yet another loss

Well one more has had enough of the games and nepotism and left our ranks. Too bad, she was a great officer and will be sorely missed.

    Inner Peace

Some unhappy people will leave to go to better paying, more rewarding jobs and some Unhappy people will lay around and try to make everyone else as miserable and Pitiful as they are, right "SHADOW"?

What would really make this "sweet" would be if Sexton went with them. Oh, if he went then they would come back, so>>>kinda of a Catch 22!!

I'd hate to see Sexton leave. He's one of the few supervisors that you can count on not to stab you in the back to polish his own image. And you don't see him running to HQ to check a paper when his people are heading out on a hot call.

Guest 357 you got it wrong ol' buddy,

Lt. Sexton is one of the reasons that the good ones stay. He is one of the few things that are right with the S O.

I'm sure that if you took a poll of the officers on patrol--90 per cent would want to work on his shift, if given the chance. Go back to sleep ol' 357 at least now the Fed-Up Jailers will get a chance if you decide to pull 'em out.
