The officer refused to move.He knew TIA policy,so he got the ticket.If the public must complie he must also.Why should LEO get special treatment.Its not fair to the public.

Just because you are a LEO that does not make you above the Law.You are suppost to enforce it,not break it!Hernando County Sheriff was in violation of FS 316.1945 and did not want to complie.Instead use his status as a LEO to push his weight around in another departments sector.Traffic Division has SOP's to follow.If a LEO wants special treatment, he must get clearane from TIAPD.Not just show up and do what ever he wants and insult members of a Law Enforcement Department.

Sorry to hear things haven't changed much. It's been almost two years since I left and happened to think of logging on to check the ongoing's of the Department (I always found this website humurous). I hope everyone is doing well other than the normal Bullsh**.

It is over with it. This is not the place to discuss it. Unfortunately, there are too many non-law enforcement poachers here, and on the other boards. Let it be a lesson learned and consider all the options in the future. If the officer left you none, you did what you had to do.

TIA officers were involved because traffic called them, for whatever reason! Traffic made an issue out of it afterwards, so thats how it reached Hernando.

I look forward to the day I get to pull over a "Parking Enforcement Specialist" from TIA for a traffic violation.

The message will be very loud and clear.

How funny..

I got a good one.
I was picking up a good friend of mine and the attendant started becoming verbally abusive with me that I couldnt wait just a few seconds to locate the person I had to pick up.
I was trying to drive and look at the terminals.
I literally wasnt there more than just a few seconds when I started being screamed at.
I have never given anyone the bird before but I did to her.
She was so rude.
So my next time around because I had to keep moving, she was waiting for me.
Starts some sh#t right there in the lane.
She tells me she could have me arrested for interfering with her job and I am laughing at this point.
She looked like Shaneqa from Rwanda starting a trible dance in the lane.
So in fear of my life, I kept on going.
I finally located my friend, did a swat pickup, rolled her into the car, threw her luggage in the back and took off in about 2 seconds.
I was afraid of getting impaled by the tribal leader at TIA.
