What’s up with FHP cars? I see very little uniformity other than color, and that crazy expensive Code 3 light bar. Are Troopers allowed to add their own lights and stuff? What radar unit is FHP using?

Ours is based on hours worked, every forty hours is so many hours vacation. I'd have to pull my book out to know how many. We are not charged vacation till we fall bellow 160 hours in a four week...

I would say that almost every S.O. in NC works 12's, and somewhere around 90% of P.D.'s work 12's. Actually, the state agencies are the only ones that don't work 12's on a regular basis.

I only stop people at 15+, my S.O. car is fully marked. I get about 10 a day. That's on top of the rest of my baby daddy drama I deal with. I also work 12hr shifts.

WOW, you guy's got nothing to complain about now. Looking at other state agencies and found that KVE (primary job is commercial vehicles) starts lower than my current SO job. That's saying a lot....
