The chief knows how to pick them, I feel safe and secured when in the port, keep up the good work when you are awake! Rest is important for good performance.
The word that is floating around from BCSO is that the PCPD will be no more by Oct. 1. The transition team is in place and the port is trying to be nice to Hellebrand to let him go. I would not expect it to go to Oct 1.

OH AND WAY TO GO JOE HELLEBRAND. YOUR LEGACY CAN BE THAT YOU WERE THE FIRST AND LAST CHIEF OF "FLORIDA'S FIRST SEAPORT POLICE DEPARTMENT. HOWEVER, THE FACT THAT YOU SCREWED UP SO MANY GOOD COPS' CAREERS AND CAUSED THE AGENCY TO BE SHUT DOWN BY THE PORT SHOWS THAT YOU ARE A JOKE AND FAILURE. I'D ADD THIS HONORABLE LEGACY TO YOUR REIGN OF HORRIBLE LEADERSHIP AT THE MELBOURNE POLICE DEPARTMENT, YOUR NICKNAME THERE "STEALABRAND", AND SHOPLIFTING ARREST AT THE FBI ACADEMY IN QUANTICO, VA THAT WAS SWEPT UNDER THE RUG UNTIL THE SURVEILLANCE WAS REVEALED.. GREAT LEGACY SIR! AT LEAST YOU ARE CONSISTENT.... YOU ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT AND SHAME TO PUBLIC SAFETY!
I don't know about the officers but I know the supervisors can get jobs as photographers. They would also be taking photos of the department because that is going down the tubes as well, only better smelling!!
If they are shutting down why are they interviewing for new officer hires? Serious question. Not trolling.

No wonder the SO is taking back the port, we have supervisors that take photos of their human waste and text it around, they are incompetent, they stay in the office on facebook etc., they did absolutely nothing to enhance or improve police service to the community. The officers are told that you have 10 minutes for lunch while being advised that lunch break is a privilege.
For those of you seeking employment, applications are accepted and interviews are held. It is a good move to collect unemployment in the near future. :cop:
What a travesty, it is embarrassing for the PD to go down the tubes (photo taken). The PD was a failure from the beginning, the chief was over his head and did not have the ability to run the department. He hired and promoted 2 LT'S that felt they were untouchable, so they ran the pd and they too, were way over their heads, where are they now? They promoted officers to supervisors that barely succeeded as officers. These supervisors were constantly busy in the IMOC doing nothing. The chief cannot take all the credit for the failure of the PD, they all played a part and never applied themselves to be better leaders, they thought they can be busy doing nothing, drinking coffee, watching tv, catching up on school work or keeping up to date on social media networks. There are some good officers that gave up stable employment to serve, but your leadership at all levels were a FAILURE, they should be ashamed for they ran the place into the ground. Military time off anyone, dunkin donuts anyone, 2 supervisors for 3 officers and they are always busy, take a look in the mirror, are you proud of the hardship you have created by your selfishness? BTW how many people came out to support the PD at the meeting?
Words of advice to the officers, sign that contract fools!
The Port Police would never have been in this position if only the idiots voted for the union, the chief really took care of y'all.
