Hey, just want to send out my regards for Steve getting hurt and the Officer who had to take a life. Even if you don't work with or even like either of these Officers, at least give them a call to see if you can do anything for them. Unless you've walked in their shoes, it's not the most stress free situation to go through. Not only do you have to deal with your own injuries etc, you have to deal with the politics involved. It's times like this when you can use all the support you can get. With that being said, put any personal feelings you may have aside and support them through this incident. You all stay safe out there and please don't wait for one more dollar when you reach the retirement line. I promise you there's life after that Department. Take care.
