Brutnell: Objecting through Representation
If you're as upset by the criminal actions of Raye Annette Brutnell and her $700,000 embezzlement over past five years from the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office, You must be equally outraged by FDLE Management's rejection of an Administrative Investigation of Mark E Brutnell, Raye's husband, and FDLE SAC, in charge of the Tampa Regional Operations Center.
Contrary to Raye Brutnell's statement that her husband Mark didn't know about the embezzlement, they shared a joint banking account and even if he didn't know the source of the funds, he knew the money was in the account. NO state employee overlooks an additional $11,600 per month over five years.
While the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office is running the Criminal Investigation, FDLE must initiate an investigation into SAC Brutnell to ask the hard questions to eliminate even the question of impropriety.
As the FDLE Commissioner has so far refused to approve this investigation, it falls to the Florida FDLE Agents Association Chapter PBA to call for it, and if the administration refuses, to schedule a vote of No Confidence in SAC Brutnell's leadership. This Grand Theft of benevolent funds set aside for officers and their families of the St Johns County Sheriff's Office, and its loss through criminal actions must be accounted for.
I ask for All FDLE Agents to show their concern by contacting Florida PBA President Mike Roddy and/or President Elect Carl Shedlock this week and demand the above.

Theyre not gonna do nothing. Who do you think you are. They have all the power. That didn't happen by accident. It happens when good, honorable people sit on their ass and do nothing. Same thing happens all the time, generation to generation, old as time. Truth is, theyre all dirty, they all sold out out somewhere along the road, now theyre feeding at the same trough. Dont get me wrong, some, are of of the finest people on the planet. But they hide, cower in fear as to not be a target. A bully, or an appeaser, were all one or the other. Both are equally disgusting. Sad.
