Nypd moving service

I’m moving to Manhattan from Queens but I am a private citizen tax payer (unlike the mayor). Can I have borrow a couple of detectives and city vehicles so they can move me for free?

Why not? The mayor moved his daughter on my dime.

I think that was an abuse of power and waste of city resources. The mayor should be ashamed of himself if he has any shame. This is another black eye for the NYPD. New Yorkers should recall the mayor and the NYPD command staff should have told the mayor NO.
