Survey being conducted regarding work product by police officers

I am currently working on a qualitative research project trying to find out how recent incidents involving police officers (Ferguson, Baltimore, etc) have eroded the confidence among police officers that their departments or city officials will protect them during cases which draw national attention.

1. These above listed incidents have caused you to be more or less pro-active doing police work?

2. If less pro-active, why? (less support from immediate supervisors, district commanders, chiefs or sheriff's, politicians, etc).
