Plantation Fire Department

When I was a volunteer firefighter for the Plantation Fire Department my Captain Randy Pettitt practically begged me to go to some stupid award ceremony at city hall. I had to wear my stupid class A uniform and basically look like a volunteer loser.
At the ceremony, this kid comes up to me by the fire truck and asks me to show him the compartments on Engine 25. I told him, "no problem." Anyway, while I showed him the K-12 and other equipment, the kid told me he wanted to be president of the United States. I said, "look kid, there is only one position for that job and it's full." The kid said, "Yeah well, and you are just a stupid firefighter." I said no kid..., "I'm a stupid VOLUNTEER firefighter."
