What in the heck is going on with that unit! Where the hell did everyone go? It’s like an endless revolving door, had another newbie show up at a scene?? All the good ones are gone!! Is it the supervision, job or what?

Yeah, now all we have is a bunch of whiny little girls and lazy old farts! Last good one went back to TPD
No one there gives a fukk about the job anymore, but they are led by someone who doesn't know fukk about leading, so there ya go.
Because this agency sucks! This job sucks! No one wants to work here! Everyone wants to quit! It has gotten exponentially worse over the past few years! The ONLY reason the vast majority stay is because of their BILLS and the need of insurance! Thats it. Plain and simple.
The only ones that truly like it here, are the special fast trackers, and the ones that do not work the front line positions. The ones buffered from liability by us pawns. The ones that show up to the chaos last if even at all or have to be emailed a small news paper of what happened written by the pawns on the front lines and printed for them by secretaries. As if we are not busy enough. Now add body cams to the BS.
Plain and simple, here it is. The career of a law enforcement officer has always been about self sacrifice. Those that chose the career do not expect to be wealthy, at least it use to be that way. Now a days, things have obviously changed. If you are unhappy, you should consider a career change. Being stuck in this job to pay bills and being unhappy with your chosen career and agency is detrimental to your life, as well as to the lives of you family. Do yourself and your family a favor and either seek guidance or another career. Additionally, you are putting the citizens of Hillsborough County, as well as, your fellow law enforcement officer in a vulnerable position when your head is not in the game. You should be at your best when you report for duty. Do the right thing, hopefully seek guidance. If you are unable to resolve your concerns with the career and the agency, do the right thing and move on. You will be much happier in the long run if you are employed by an agency that meets your expectations or a private business. Until then, stay safe. It is a difficult job that is not cut out for everyone. I think you will agree.
The plain truth is the people that b!tch the loudest are selfish takers. In the real job market their skills are equivalent to that of retail store cashier or self stocker. But they find this career that pays well and has benefits exponentially better than they could get in the real market. So they sign up and spend their time complaining about their choice but can never leave. The claim of BILLS is just another way of saying I can’t match this deal in the real world. Otherwise, why would they stay if they’re so miserable and the agency sucks so bad?
If it was as bad as you say, you’d find a way to survive without the agency’s insurance. Most everyone else in the community has found a way to survive without working for the agency so I bet you can figure it out as well. You’re like one of those Yankees who say Florida sucks but they moved for the weather. So they weighed it out and Florida won. You’ve weighed it out and HCSO has won. So STFU and quit if you don’t like it, biiitch.
