I have spent my whole career with the NYPD trying to help the folks in the poor communities. In 15 years I have not received one complaint from anyone. I can tell you with the utmost certainty that the next time that I go to arrest someone for a violent felony and someone swings a weighted instrument at me, that person is going to eat 5-10 rounds in the face.
