Menocal Gets 3 Years Federal Prison, Victims Say Too Lenient

Just shows that while cocaine money can buy local prosecutors it couldn't buy a federal judge. Jesse Menocal is due to surrender on June 11 to start serving 3 years prison. The crooked former chief bought him 4 years of time and appears to have escaped prosecution, and it should be noted that none of the cowardly command staff had the courage to stand up to Velazquez. Not one. Too many senior staff were complicit in giving Menocal free reign to rape for 4 years.
I want to take a moment to thank the moderators of this forum for allowing this 4 year discussion, which culminated into the arrest, prosecution and conviction of this psycho cop. It must have seemed bizaar that a police chief would enable one of his sergeants to assault and rape again and again for 4 years. Without the constant forum drumbeat, which was eventually picked up by the press then FBI, he might still be out there preying on his young victims.
And Jesse, being a cop in prison you will be a target. You are a big boy so it will probably take at least 2 to take you down in the shower. Watch for shanks....daddy and Velazquez won't be there to help you anymore.
