How does someone apply to this department?

How does someone apply to this department? And are you guys hiring certified at this time?

We only hire certified officers from New York City or those involved in cronyism. If you dont fall in those two categories, we dont want you.

If your normal, meaning you aren't threatened by everyone and everything,
Have a sense of what's right, Are concerned with your fellow police officers well being
and generally look out for the public, then please go to the towns web page and watch for an employment announcement, then fill out an application... its that simple
as for cronyism the old ways of the previous police department are being washed away
people are treated fairly and it is a nice place to work. Gone are the days when fellow officers , driven by feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, and most of all fear of the command structure , will gladly turn on each other.
