And drop the "back their cops" BS. Backing cops is not an imperitive for a Chief. In fact the opposite is true. Chiefs not holding obvious bad behavior of an individual cop accountable hurts every other cop.
It clearly states progressive discipline is mandatory unless the act is over the top dangerous, or had serious repercussions. You should ask for all discipline and see how this was classified and handled in accordance with other discipline.
