I run a law enforcement website here in Florida. It is specifically geared toward recruits in Florida. So whether your an FHP recruit (which I have many subscribers now from your current class) to self pay academies its all the same material when it comes to taking the block exams and state exam. Once you pass the state exam you will have an additional 10 weeks of training specific to FHP.

OK, joke's over.....You must be spending too much time trying to get the spelling wrong. If you somehow get through the school, someone will need to help you write your reports. I can see it in court......judge trying to figure out what the violation was (they don't know the codes).

You might want to start with some English study guides, you have around 20 grammatical errors in this short post!


Why do some consider themselves the grammar police? Sometimes people just type a quick short note and really don't think about grammar, as I suspect the above poster was doing. Are they really THAT bored?

Yes, on LeoAffairs people do have a tendency to eat their young but when someone posts a grammatical disaster indicating that they are headed to the academy can you blame them?

The FHP must have left some deep, psychological scars if you are compelled to continue bashing the agency. Maybe we have discovered a new condition. A post dramatic stress syndrome.

A good place to start when applying for a job is to get the English correct. Incorrect spelling is not good but when speaking, get the words right!
Who has, not Who have....
I, not i as it shows a lack of pride in yourself or using kid speak.
Sounds like you.....not Sound like you...
Did you fail, not did you failed....
Anyone have a copy....not anyone has....
Not picking at you, just making sure you present yourself well. Any job you seek may have an interviewer who will dismiss your application.

I bashed FHP on a regular basis when I was a trooper because I hated the agency. And guess what? I did move on and now wish that I never knew what FHP was. I wasted many years of my life there!

I can't fathom how you don't understand why people are pissed off at FHP. The sad fact is many people do not have the means to leave FHP either because they do not have the education, have poor health, or simply have been with FHP for too long to leave. I can easily understand why these kind of people are bitter with the current state of affairs with FHP.
