Who is the person who called a x24 yesterday ..a Deputy got into a crash while enroute..I heard it was not needed.

some newbie who doesnt have a clue........

educate the newbie. x24 is not x94. x24 is for when you cant say anything else be cause you are so stuck in crap.

I agree with last poster, calm down and think. Theres nothing wrong with getting on the radio and stating: I need a couple more units x18..youll get people there in a hurry, without the entire county responding causing deputies to get in wrecks because they think you are gettin ur ass handed to you!!!!!

A x24 is for when your in severe distress and thats the only thing you can get over the radio..same as the orange button on your radio.
