Pay Raise

I was reading in the paper that the new county manager got a 6 percent pay raise after only 9 months on the payroll for doing an "outstanding" job. I hope the Teamsters union is able to obtain an equivalent pay raise for the hard working deputies who have been here a little longer than 9 months and are also doing an "outstanding" job. And also show up to work on time (since the paper - Orlando Sentinel) stated that the county manager has an issue with "punctuality."

Maybe your whole county council could forgo trips to Hawaii and Vegas and use that money for a pay raise.

Thank goodness for the union that forced chity to give the deputies a raise. Chity called it a juvenile stunt....but it worked
