You're typing an urban legend that's all over the web. Many typed it after he was in office meaning they lived in another state or never heard of him.

If you wanted a criminal justice guy, you had the chance to vote for Rod Smith, D-Gainesville. He is a decent guy, a farmer from a little town outside Gainesville called Alachua. He was one helluva prosecutor and a reasonable sort.

But don't take it from me or the next clown who posts on this site. Read up on him for yourself. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll run for state-wide office again one day.
