Hey guys, check out this website www.votedavidmorgan.com (http://www.votedavidmorgan.com)

It's pretty encouraging for a positive change.

His alleged experince was at what agency? The website doesnt indicate what agency or city he was employed to gain this experience.

Is this military or civilian policing experience?

Why would normal folks wont to associate themselves with the "babies" (aka freedom figbhters) from RMPT?

Why are you guys against Morgan? From what I've seen, he's exactely what the ECSO needs. He's professional, sets a good example, and will bring the community's trust back to the Sheriff's Office. He's also going to turn the department back right side up, and spend the budget on Deputies not administrators. I believe him and I think you guys should give him a chance. What do you have to lose except a corrupt red neck uneducated Ronniemac?

It would be nice if the SO had the same reputation for being professional like the PPD does. I think Morgan can get them there.

I thought PPD had a reputation of being run by a drunk.

That morale was no better at PPD than the S/O.

That the same issues experienced at the S/O was being experienced at PPD.

You can tell "Mr Positive" has only listened to rumors and doesnt know the facts concerning the S/O.

With all the problems you listed at the PPD, you may be right, but the fact remains that the PPD is far more educated and professional than the ECSO. You guys cant pretend not to have heard the reputation of both departments out in the community. The ECSO, good old boys, the PPD professional. That's just the way it is and has always been.

When you get right down to it, we serve the public. That's what we're here for. When you start to forget that, that's when bad things happen. Remember, not everyone that's not a cop is a bad guy. Open your mind and get community oriented. Without the community behind us, we're nothing but bad guys ourselves. You guys at the SO seriously need training in community policing.

Maybe the S/O can call you so and let you teach all of us how to be "community oriented".

PPD is no better than the S/O. Each agency has those that makes the other employees job that much harder.

PPD's reputation is "professional"???? I am a member of the legal community and professional is not the word I have heard to describe PPD. Most often it has been something along the lines of "we make our own rules." Don't get me wrong, I support law enforcement 100%, even have family members, but the best thing PPD could do is to work on their reputation within the community. A few bad apples can most definitely spoil the whole bunch.

Here's a link to a picture of (Thelbert) David Morgan's campaign manager, Doc Ely. (His son was fired from the Sheriff's Office, Mike Ely) Doc's the one on the right. I think your familiar with the person on the left. What does that shirt Doc's wearing say?

This was at one of Leroy Boyd's rallys. Check out all the other pictures in this gallery to see what other LEO supporters were there.
