Here we go again......a contract with smoke and mirror benefits. Of course, are voted selected bunch of electees can't address the #1 ISSUE to the contract( Health Care for Actives and for Retirement). It's the same old same old........Hmmmmm....might take some work and a FIGHT with the City, but NOT GOING TO DO IT. We as members voted for higher pay raises and ( 4.5,4 and 4 ) is a JOKE. How about BETTER BENEFITS...like HEALTH CARE......Higher Bonus Pay......maybe getting more than the accumulated 3.3 and 4.3 into the Annual and Sick Bank. Well Friends we keep electing the DO NOTHINGS.....we will get more of the same. This contract needs to be a overlwhelming " NO ".......we as Union members need to send a message not only to the CITY, but to KEVIN DURKIN......." DO YOUR JOB ". As soon as our contract is completed and we get railroaded...the LTs and the higher ups will get the better Benefits.....like there last contract (6,6,6).
