Is Sheriff Daniels OK!?

At the Battle of the Badges in New Smyrna Beach bus race, there was an accident and Lake County Sheriff Chris Daniels was hurt... they cancelled the rest of the evening but they never said if he was ok. Then on the news they said he may have been seriously injured... they said nothing more.

Sheriff Eslinger got into the back of him going around turn one and Sheriff Daniels spun out and hit the infield wall on the drivers side.

Please if anyone knows anything... I am worried.

OMG They just said on the news that he died...

I am just in complete disbelief... this is so horrible, I hate that I was there and saw this happen.

My deepest condolences to Sheriff Daniels family, my prayers will be with you as well as with the Lake County Sheriff's office.

It was his birthday too, they said it right before the race started. I just can't even imagine what happened, it didn't look that bad... this is so sad. I can't even imagine how terrible Sheriff Eslinger must feel about this, my prayers are with him as well.
