Dear Labor Board,
Prior to our contract negotiations being resolved I feel it is fitting to express to you how I feel the vast majority of our membership feel. In years past there has been significant grumblings about various matters, many of our members have felt as though they have not been fully represented. I think despite those feelings and the upward battle across the street, the labor board has been able to accomplish significant headway for our members. We as a body have united around this single (although extremely important) issue and have been able to show the city and our administration that we are no longer a fragmented group. I largely contribute this to the inclusive nature of our current labor board. The labor board has conducted professional and motivated negotiation on behalf of all of its members. To some up in a single word our labor board has made me, and I believe all of us: Proud.
