Injury

My doctor has recommended that I get a hip replacement. I am 30 years old and do not believe I can ignore the pain anymore. Does anyone have any information regarding people returning to law enforcement after this procedure?

I am looking to attempt to stay in this field and not change professions. Any stories about what you or someone you knew dealt with would be appreciated.

If anyone knows of any doctors that have done similar procedures with other LEO’s please let me know.

Check with the night desk guy at 411 on A cycle.. I believe he had some kind of procedure done on his hips, not sure if a replacement. But you can start with him. Not sure what his name is but he is at 276-3200

I met alot of people in physical therapy when I was trying to come back after a repeated blown knee. From what I learned about how it's done, concrete into bone, I doubt your Doctor would tell you to come back. Good luck, I wish you the best.
