Yeah, Largo PD is in need of some better options to attract better officers (they have known that for years they want to save a few pennies). Take home car county wide would be a start (like other Pd’s), at least an update about the computer situation (we are way past the announced deadlines)!! Staying with the eights and the four 10's like we currently have would be good and not going to the longer days. Whoever said that the younger guys want to work longer days must be an older cop with the weekend off (or maybe an administrator and not a flatfoot). No-one wants to work 12's with rotating days off!!!
By the way what is the reason why this topic has made it so long? Is there something wrong with the current work schedule? Small agency with small ideas sounds like it might be a correct assessment!
