On behalf of the Polk County Sheriff's Office, I would like to say thank you for all the support we received from FHP. I was amazed at how many troopers were at the funeral helping with traffic, parking, paying respects etc. And how many were on scene after the shooting to help apprehend Deputy Williams' killer. Matt would have been so proud to see how many agencies came together during a crisis. Let's hope something like this never happens again but if it does it's great to know we got each others backs.
