todays paper shows they are doing a $110,000.00 study of childs park. Where is the money coming from...well according to the last line in the article

From the POLICE BUDGET!

Good thing we have lost 55 officers so far this year, guess that gives us extra money to pay for this study. What a morale booster

What are they gonna spend all that money on? Ive already done a study..Here you go: You can buy drugs on any corner, you can probably find atleast one gun every 100 ft, cars dont stop therefore criminals get away..I mean lets get real! What a waste of more money!

The money comes from the police budget, Go Davis is in charge...and they actually need a study? Go has been part of the problem for years with lousy enforcement and a blind eye toward criminality.

Why didn't they talk to the Child's Park neighborhood association president about this plan? Aren't those neighborhood associations so important to the mayor? That president wasn't even invited to the mayor's PR-fest until less than 18 hours before, even though Go Davis has been blabbing about this for days. Here's another curiosity - the city scrambled to get other neighborhood association presidents to show up, but did they invite the CONA president? This was political posturing.

What do you bet the consultant will suggest a supermarket...with a police substation in it!

Was the study conducted by, and paid to, the "night riders van club"

It was quite interesting that they put new sod down and painted the Childs Park Rec Center before the news conference took place! Smoke and Mirrors!
