I'd like to give a shout out to the female officer who stopped me while I was traveling through northeast St. Pete, last evening on my motorcycle.
She was stopped behind me at a red light and entered my tag into DAVID. She found that my tag was way overdue, so she pulled me over. She was totally cool in her approach. While pulling into a parking lot behind me, she didn't try to drive the cruiser through the assend of my bike like I was a fleeing felon - she just drove in behind me, calmly.
I presented my DL, CWP and FD ID. She asked where my firearm was located on my person and I informed her as to where it was. She said no more about it and allowed me the dignity of treating me like a CITIZEN! We chatted for a couple of minutes and she handed me back my cards and extended a professional courtesy to me.
Monday the tag on the bike gets renewed!
