Rumor control

We need someone from the PBA to get on here and do some good rumor control. There is talk that the city wants four on and three off, two year shift bid, changing the shift bid process and sick time buyout.


Someone please clear this up and fast.

You need to log in over there, I like staying under the radar.

With the exception of the sick buyout, all of the other items can be considered non-economic. It was my understanding that all of the non-economic items were already agreed upon and they are only discussing money now.

I would hope that the PBA would have informed the membership if they accepted a change in the bid process or shift cycles.

what is all this talk of what the pba accepts.or i hope they did not go for that...lets remember folks,nothng is accepted until we the membership say...WE ACCEPT... BY CASTING A VOTE IN FAVOR OF IT.... basic logic says..you never give something back to the city that was given to us in a previous contract. so, when my vote is cast,should these ugly, ugly rumors show up in writing. remember...JUST SAY NO!!!.....STRENGH IN NUMBERS IS WHAT UNIONS ARE ALL ABOUT......the city needs to do the right thing or expect a long drawn out session of negotiations.......be safe :devil:
