Greetings,

Jim Preston and I are the co-founders of LEOAFFAIRS.COM(tm) and want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our site. This site was created for you, so please use it.

One issue we wanted to cover was the confidentiality of postings on this website and message boards. In the nearly 4 years that we have been around, we have never had to reveal a poster's IP address (even though we received subpoenas). How far are we willing to go to protect your identity? We went to court 4 times and won when a local sheriff attempted to obtain the IP addresses of some posters. We won every major court battle including the last one which was in the 2nd District Court of Appeal. A great deal of time, effort and money has gone into protecting your rights.

As long as you post within our Terms of Use and don't break the law, you're in good shape. When in doubt, refer to our Terms of Use (Disclaimer section). Please avoid defaming each other on here and slamming, as that is not the purpose of these Message Boards. Messages in violation are subject to deletion and posters subject to being banned.

If you use this Message Board as intended, the Media will cover the site and make the public aware of it along with your cause. Next, once the public becomes aware of this site, they will normally be sympathetic towards your concerns and apply needed pressure to make the necessary changes. How do we know this works? Just ask the cops with the St. Pete PD in Florida, the Florida Department of Corrections Officers, former Pahokee PD officers in Florida, and the list goes on and on.

Thanks for your support and be safe!
