Bradenton Police employee charged with domestic battery

BRADENTON - A 26-year-old dispatcher with the Bradenton Police Department is in trouble with the law following an altercation with her estranged husband.

According to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report, Christina Miller allegedly burned Jason Miller's arm with a lit cigarette and ran over his foot with her car Sunday afternoon. The alleged incident occurred at Jason Miller's home in the 6200 block of 37th Ave. West.

An officer with the Bradenton Police Department was dispatched to the residence after Jason Miller, 28, called 9-1-1. Due to the fact that Christina Miller works for BPD, MCSO was called in due to a possible conflict of interest.

The couple have children together and met to discuss their care. When Jason Miller leaned into his estranged wife's car she allegedly burned him. She also ran over his foot and brushed up against his leg with her car as she attempted to leave.

The incident was witnessed by Jason Miller's current girlfriend.

After MCSO conducted its investigation into the incident, Christina Miller was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated domestic battery. She was booked into the Manatee County Jail and released after posting bond.

Now, come on you know that’s not true! The male half is as bad as the female half; he should also be 10-15 for misuse of 911 systems, using it to further his cause in their domestic dispute. They need to grow up, both of them; they have children they should be thinking of instead of their own petty fighting. They should also keep their domestic b*@#&hit out of the department.

two other records showing what?? she has only been 10-15'd once! Just because every court action is posted on a web site doesn't mean there has been a criminal charge! Maybe you should do your homework.

Both parties should grow up! Neither should be raising children.

Why do we feel the need to aire this on this board. I cannot believe that this topic would get any attention. This is a family matter that does not need our public input, put yorself in this position and see how you would feel. How about supporting our fellow co-worker instead of bashing one.
