BPD Motor Sgt. Died

For those of you that have not heard Sgt. Tyler Matthews from Bradenton Police Department was involved in a motorcycle accident in South Dakota at Sturgis. He died on scene and his wife is in the hospital with head injuries. Tyler was the Sgt. of the PD's Traffic Unit and a Motor Cop. He was a good friend and will be dearly missed by all. I will post any funeral arrangements for those of you that would like to attend.

Our prayers go out to Tyler and his family. We pray for a speedy recovery of his wife. He is a good man and will be missed.

Sgt. Matthews funeral is scheduled for friday August 18, 2006 at 11:30 am at the Church of the Cross in Palmetto, FL. If anyone wishes to attended just post it here and we will pass it onto Bradenton Police Dept.
