Finally

It's good to finally have a forum such as this to vent. I hope that more Oakland and Bay Area officers will join in and help each other out. I will surely be watching and waiting to jump in.

The problem with police work these days, and especially in the cities by the bay, is that we have no support. No support from the outside is relatively common although extremely disheartening. Lack of support from the administration is a whole other burden to bare. I ask myself not what to do, but why do I do anything at all? Why should I stick my neck out and risk my life or even injury for that matter if all I get is grief? Well, I finally figured it out: I won't do anything anymore. Let the crime rate soar and let the politicians figure out how to face their public and defend their political butts.
