2 men killed after fleeing from deputies
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Pinellas County authorities say two men were killed in a traffic crash after fleeing from sheriff's deputies.
Deputies say they spotted a 2006 black Chevrolet driving erratically about 11 pm Thursday. Officers pursued the car for about a minute until supervisors called off the chase.
Authorities say the Chevrolet sped through an intersection, hit a dip in the road and apparently lost control. The car smashed through a hedge and flipped over.
Both men were thrown 30 feet from the car. One was taken to Northside Hospital, the other to St. Petersburg General Hospital, but both died.
The victims names haven't been released.Good riddance. :twisted:
