Key to Sarasota Stolen..

SPD arrested a transient for stealing the Key to the City of Sarasota yesterday. One of our commissioners left the Key to the City of Sarasota in their vehicle's trunk which was subsequently violated by the offending individual. Not to worry though the rouge is no longer running ammuck with unbridled access to every business and residence in the City. The villan was 10-15'd and the Key was presumabley returned to the vehicle's trunk. :shock:

Shouldn't the key to the City be kept somewhere a bit more secure than the trunk of a commissioner's vehicle?

i heard the SAO is dropping the charges :roll: they said that they needed video tape and an eye witness other wise it was not worth going to court for .
