Just saw it ! Good to know the major porblems of the department ( now that the blue jeans issue is settled) is firstly -bad language need to stop cussing and yada yada yada. If you have a potty mouth you must have a potty mind. Second biggest problem, too many absconders. This needs to be reduced ASAP. Someone please tell him they all have active warrants and will be apprehended as soon as they show up some where. Y'all be on the look out for the famous L05 to S04 switcheroo. They are still mising and whereabouts unknown but they are now not absconders - as the prez would say "Mission accomplished".

Talk about arranging deck chairs on the Titanic

This new Sec. is there just to play to the media. He started all this absconder stuff after the media ran some stories saying how many absconders there were. Maybe we should ignore the active cases and drive around all day looking for these absconders.

Maybe we should drive around all day looking for a REAL LEADER for DC !

If he really wants action on absconders he needs to get the state attorney's office to extradite. Can list how many I have that continually get arrested out of state, only to get let go because we won't pay to bring them back. Hmmm, maybe they'll pay me to go make contact with them in another state. Or, heaven forbid, find someway to get the disfunctional interstate compact gang involved!!!

I thought Interstate Compact was working from their residences.

they might just as well, they're not certified staff and are unqualified to do anything but e-mail unrealistic time demands on getting your work done. oh, and don't forget having to send them all info in a form from the internet, and make sure it's a current form, and you typed it right, and had it blessed by three priests and a rabbi before you even THINK about hitting the send button.
and by the way, who the hell is chris lane?

I am afraid the Secretary has missed the boat with his little video. If he was addresseing basic trainess it might work but not with inmate and probationer hardened staff. He started off on the wrong foot and is digging a deeper hole for himself. To bad. Another politician. GoDevil.
