I just read this line in a state newspaper other than the al-jazeera times:
Seven of the 17 Florida cities mentioned in the FBI report posted increases in murders. They are Cape Coral, Clearwater, Miramar, Orlando, Pembroke Pines, Port St. Lucie, and St. Petersburg.
St. Petersburg had the state's largest one-year jump from 19 in 2004 to 30 in 2005.
